An important part of the work of the Department of Multilateral affairs and Cooperation is to grant the follow up of the commitments taken by the country after the ratification and entry into force of the International Conventions.
- The Department coordinates with other ministries:
- The drafting of the follow up reports or the answers to previous questions.
- The organization and preparation of the meetings in which a delegation from the Government presents and defends a report in front of the UN Treaty Bodies in charge of the evaluation of the country.
- The organisation and preparation of the evaluation visits by different expert groups in charge of drafting the follow up reports.
The reports issued by the international organisations are public.
