Consular affairs

The Service, centralized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Andorra, operates in direct coordination with the diplomatic missions of the Principality of Andorra.

The Ministry assesses Andorran citizens in their administrative processes and travels abroad, informing about visa requirements when travelling, connecting with relevant international partners and administrating the travelers’ register.

Likewise, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in charge of legalizing or affixing apostilles to documents delivered by Andorran authorities in order to make them valid when required abroad.

The diplomatic missions abroad assist Andorran nationals when residing abroad with renewing official documents or other administrative processes, or when travelling and facing difficulties such as the loss of the passport or in the event of an accident or repatriation.
