Resum
(ENG) Andorra is located in the high mountain area of the axial zone of the Pyrenees. The geomorphology of Andorra is dominated by erosion surfaces and deep incised valleys, shaped by Pleistocene glaciations (Valira d'Oriente, Valira del Nord, Madriu y Gran Valira). Traditionally human activity always has been concentrated at the valley bottoms in stable sites. During the seventies human occupation extended to less stable areas, potentially affected by natural risks (slides, avalanches, erosion processes, floods, etc.) The conference points out the need for a better knowledge of the natural risks of the Andorran high mountain area.
