Coneixements hidrogeològics en el sector del con de dejecció de La Comella (parròquia d'Andorra la Vella)

(ENG) Hydrogeological knowledgement in the debris Comella's cone sector, Andorra la Vella municipality: Since 2005 the Department of the Environment of the Government of Andorra has entrusted several hydrogeological studies in order to delineate a monitoring and surveillance network of groundwater resources in the area of the Comella dejection cone, Andorra la Vella municipality. These studies have allowed to state that the existing overdeepening glacier basin [partially covered by the dejection cone] has a thickness of more than 115 meters on its central part, left side. The rock basement lies up to 40 meters depth in the central part of the dejection cone, whereas it is present at 30 meters in the apical zone. Three hydrogeological units have been identified: i) a water-table aquifer of hydraulic head h1; ii) a multilayer nonconsolidated aquifer of hydraulic head h3, which constitutes the main hydrogeological unit of the basin; and iii) at the basement, a fissured aquifer of hydraulic head h2.
